Some people might be under the impression that Security is not all glamour. Well they’d be not far off the mark! Both Norman and myself are Security men hired for parties and the like, not film stars like Brad Pitt or Hugh Grant (I’d be Brad Pitt if we were though!)… We had been asked to greet, supervise and ensure that all guests that were invited (only the invited ones) were allowed into the venue. We did the necessary to ensure that this happened, with the usual drill of Metal detection and crowd control. We do what we gotta do! It was shaping into a quiet night and myself and Norm were contemplating an early night until a Double Decker bus turned up and we were awash with potential gatecrashers and fork and knife wielding friends of John, the confused birthday boy!
